Ingredients
- 1 cup rice- thoroughly washed and drained
- 1/2 cup split moong beans- thoroughly washed and drained
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp or a pinch of turmeric
- 5 cups of water
- 4 tbsp of butter or ghee
Method
- Add all the above ingredients to the instant pot and stir well.
- Close the IP with the lid and turn to seal position. Cook on manual mode for 20 minutes. Let natural release for 5 minutes then quick release and open the lid carefully once all the pressure is released.
- Mix in 4 tbsp of butter or ghee. You can add more if you prefer. Enjoy !
